Meter Insights allows registered users to share scans with each other.

The sharing feature is managed at the device level. When a user performs a scan for the first time, the user is defined as a Scanner for that device. The Scanner can then share scans with one or more Viewers. If previous scans were performed for the device by the Scanner before sharing. all prior scans are available to the Viewer. If the Scanner stops sharing with a Viewer, then scans for that device are no longer available to the Viewer.

More than one user may be defined as a Scanner for a single device. Data sharing is not automatically reciprocal. For example, if Alice shares her scans of Meter1 with Bob, she does not automatically become a Viewer for scans Bob captures on Meter1.
